Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani met in Baghdad on Thursday with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah.

Al-Sudani and Prince Faisal reviewed ties and ways to strengthen and develop them. They also discussed regional and international developments of common interest.

Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Fuad Hussein attended the meeting.

The Muslim World League (MWL) condemned on Tuesday Israel’s strikes on a school and displaced people in Gaza, which left several people dead and injured.

The school is located west of Gaza City and the displaced were near the Qastal Towers, east of Deir Al Balah city in central Gaza.

In a statement by the MWL Secretariat General, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa slammed “the persistent and horrific acts of violence directed towards civilians and civilian facilities.”

These acts are a blatant violation of international and humanitarian laws and norms, he added.

He stressed the urgent need for the international community to promptly call for an end to the ongoing killings by the Israeli military, and to end the systematic atrocities against innocent people.
