A delegation from Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) met on Sunday with officials from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Damascus.

The meeting was also attended by Chargé d’Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Syria Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Harees.

The meeting focused on shared priorities in relief and humanitarian efforts, specifically strategies to boost support and assistance for the Syrian people.

UNHCR officials praised the strategic partnership between KSrelief and UNHCR, emphasizing their collaborative efforts to support refugees and displaced individuals worldwide, ensuring they have access to a dignified life.

Earlier, the sixth relief plane, operated by the KSrelief left the King Khalid International Airport bound for Damascus International Airport, carrying food, shelter, and medical supplies.

The assistance provides help for the Syrian people in their critical circumstances and reaffirms Saudi Arabia's longstanding support for the brotherly and friendly countries in times of crisis.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of condolences to Chinese President Xi Jinping over the victims of the earthquake that struck Dingri County of Xizang Region in southwest China.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques extended his heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the Chinese president, the families of the deceased, and the Chinese people, wishing the injured a speedy recovery, SPA reported.

For his part, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also sent a cable of condolences to President Xi, extending his heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the Chinese president, the families of the deceased, and the Chinese people, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
