Gulf Countries Congratulate Saudi Leadership on Founding Day

United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated on Saturday the Saudi leadership on the Kingdom’s Founding Day.

They sent cables on the occasion to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah also congratulated the Saudi leadership in a cable, praising the Kingdom’s development across various fields, which have strengthened its international standing.

He expressed his profound pride in the establishment of solid fraternal relations that bind the two families, reflecting their shared historical positions. He wished King Salman continued good health and happiness and the Kingdom, its government, and people further progress and prosperity.

Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi sent cables of congratulations to the Saudi leadership.

Albudaiwi said Saudi Founding Day is a testament to the Kingdom's great legacy and impressive achievements, driven by the wise leadership focused on development and prosperity for its people and lighting the way for progress and advancement.

"This occasion reflects the glory and pride that the Kingdom has reached and the regional and international standing it enjoys, including the important and pivotal role it plays in the GCC," he stressed.

Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque said that over 122 million worshippers prayed at the holy site during Ramadan.

A total of 122,286,712 visited, including 16,558,241 performing Umrah, 75,573,928 praying at the Grand Mosque, and 30,154,543 visiting the Prophet's Mosque, it revealed according to the Saudi Press Agency on Monday.

To efficiently manage the massive crowds, the authority adopted advanced technology, employing sensor readers at the main entrances of the Grand Mosque.

This technology allows real-time monitoring of crowd flow, improving operational efficiency and crowd management in collaboration with relevant authorities.
