Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz held on Wednesday a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump and they discussed bilateral ties and developments in the region and the world.

They also stressed the depth of the strategic relations between the two countries and strengthening them to serve their peoples.

Meanwhile, the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) highly commended the approval by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to host the 13th Arabization Conference to be held at King Abdullah Center for Translation and Arabization of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in April 2018.

This was announced by ALESCO Assistant Director General Dr. Mohamed Abdul-Bari al-Qudsi in a statement issued in the organization’s headquarters in Tunisia on Wednesday.

Qudsi stated that the conference tackles the Arab language and its challenges, given that it is a major element of the identity and an interaction tool with the quick developments in the world.

Saudi Arabia Condemns Terrorist Attack on Church in Syria

Saudi Arabia strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a church in the Dweilaa area in Damascus, in Syria that left tens dead and many others injured , the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement reiterating the Kingdom’s firm stance rejecting bloodshed and the attacks against places of worship and the intimidation of innocent civilians. It affirmed the Kingdom’s solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic against all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism.

The ministry also extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Syria, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
