The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Thursday former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
During the meeting, they discussed friendly relations between the Kingdom and France, and a number of issues of mutual interest, SPA said.
The audience was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, Minister of State and Cabinet's Member Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf and Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir.
According to the SPA, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense, Chairman of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Investment Fund has also met with Sarkozy on the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative.
During the meeting, a number of economic issues were discussed as part of the Initiative, the news agency said.
