In a three-year study conducted by the British automotive publication «What Car» on the reliability of different car types, including about 14,000 vehicles, Japanese cars have topped the list by achieving absolute reliability and 100 percent consumer satisfaction.

In the category of small city cars, the Toyota Aygo ranked first, while the first place in the small cars category went for Honda Jazz; the Lexus «CT 200h» topped the list of medium family cars.

The three vehicles proved to be 100 percent reliable.

Ford was the only American car in the top 10 list, with a reliability of 92 percent to come in fourth, followed by the German Volkswagen Tiguan and Mitsubishi Outlander. The 10th and final place went to the electric Lev from Nissan, preceded by the Audi A3 Cabriolet, Mercedes S Class, Diesel and Audi A3 Salon.
