Saudi Arabia’s new ambassador to Lebanon, Walid al-Yaacoub, arrived in Beirut on Monday to assume his duties.
He was received at the Rafik Hariri International Airport by Saudi Charge d’Affaires Walid al-Bukhari and a number of Gulf Cooperation Council ambassadors to Lebanon, as well as various embassy and Lebanese Foreign Ministry personnel.
Al-Yaacoub is expected to present his credentials to Lebanese officials before officially assuming his post.
