Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz held talks in Riyadh on Monday with visiting Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
The two leaders discussed bilateral ties and the latest regional developments.
The Saudi King later threw a luncheon banquet in his guest’s honor.
The audience was attended by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; and a number of senior officials.
Later, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, held talks with the Pakistani official.
The Pakistani prime minister underscored the highly prestigious status the Kingdom entertains among the Pakistani people and government.
For his part, the Crown Prince expressed appreciation of Pakistan, its government and people.
Prince Mohammed and Abbasi also discussed bilateral ties and way to develop them in various fields.
