Saudi Boy Killed By Shrapnel of Explosive Fired by Houthis

A 14-year-old Saudi boy in Jizan region was killed by the shrapnel of an explosive fired by Houthi militias in Yemen, the General Directorate of Civil Defense said on Thursday.


The Directorate announced on Thursday the death of a Saudi citizen following Houthi bombing otowards Al-Arda governorate.


The boy was identified as Hamed Jathmi, an intermediate student. He was seriously injured and killed when the shrapnel fell near his home.


The civil defense forces in Jizan reported the fall of shrapnel from an explosive projectile launched by Houthis from Yemeni territory and the death of the young man.


Others were also injured by the shrapnel. The civil defense has taken the needed measures for such cases.
