Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Vice President of Council of Ministers, Minister of Defense has met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Riyadh, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

During their meeting on Thursday, they discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and intensified efforts to guarantee the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, SPA said.

The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir, Director of General Intelligence Khalid Al-Humaidan, and a number of senior officials, the news agency added.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a cable of congratulations to the President of Tunisia, Kais Saied, on his country's Republic Day.
King Salman wished President Saied continued good health and happiness and the government and people of Tunisia steady progress and prosperity.
