King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) has signed a partnership agreement with Myrkott Animation Studio to transform documented parts of the history of the Arabian Peninsula and Saudi Arabia into a cartoon series.
Acting Secretary-General of Darah Fahad Al-Shammari and Abdulaziz Almuzaini, who is the co-founder and General Manager of Myrkott, signed the contract at Darah’s headquarters in Riyadh as part of the foundation’s efforts to make the new generation aware of the history of the Arabian Peninsula and that of Saudi Arabia.
Darah also seeks to consolidate the digital content of Arab and Islamic history by benefiting from modern technologies.
Under the contract, Myrkott will develop 12 episodes on the Arabian Peninsula’s history in line with the highest standards and technological features for all ages.
