Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir held talks in Washington on Saturday with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on the latest regional developments.

The two officials also discussed joint efforts to counter terrorism and extremism.

The meeting, held at the State Department, was attended by the Kingdom’s Ambassador to the US Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and also covered bilateral ties between Riyadh and Washington.

Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa extended on Sunday his congratulations to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as to the Saudi people and the entire Islamic nation, on the success of this year's Hajj.

He said the pilgrimage was marked by security and seamless service integration.

On behalf of all MWL agencies, Al-Issa praised the generous care and exceptional attention provided to the pilgrims.

He highlighted the outstanding organization, smooth movement between the holy sites, and the unwavering commitment to ensuring pilgrims' comfort, allowing them to perform their rituals with ease and tranquility.
