FII Summit Still on Schedule Despite ‘Disappointing’ Withdrawals

Saudi Future Investment Initiative (FII) spokesman confirmed that the summit will be held according to schedule, later this month, despite “disappointing” withdrawals of speakers and partners.

“Despite the disappointing withdrawal of some speakers and partners, we look forward to welcoming thousands of speakers, session managers and guests from around the world in Riyadh from October 23 to 25,” the FII spokesman said in a statement.

Still on, the conference will be held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

FII seeks to further explore global trends and opportunities that contribute to sustainable development, build a network of key players in the global arena, and highlight emerging sectors that will shape future economies.

More than 100 global investors, CEOs and disruptive innovators will be featured speakers at the upcoming Future Investment Initiative (FII) 2018, take place in Riyadh from October 23rd – 25th.

Focusing on three core themes, investing in transformation, technology as opportunity and advancing human potential, FII speakers will explore a number of subjects.

How business and government leaders can develop a collective vision for the future, the ways in which venture capital is changing the future of innovation, and how immersive technology is changing modern life, are among the key topics for discussions to be tackled by the forum.

Speakers will also shed light on the most pertinent trends shaping the global investment landscape.

FII is a global platform focused on identifying future trends and opportunities, defining the future of industries and discussing how investment can contribute to overall global prosperity and development.

The leadership of Saudi Arabia has sent heartfelt congratulations and well-wishes to Oman on National and to Morocco on the occasion of Independence Day, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, sent separate cables congratulating Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tarik, on his country's National Day.
The Saudi leadership wished the sultan of Oman continued good health, and the government and people of Oman steady progress and prosperity, praising the distinguished fraternal relations that bind the two countries.
The Saudi leadership also congratulated King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco on his country's Independence Day.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince wished the king of Morocco continued good health and happiness, and the government and people of Morocco steady progress and prosperity.
