Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz arrived in the central Qasim province on Tuesday, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
He was seen off at the King Salman Airbase by a number of princes, ulemas, ministers and senior civil and military officials.
King Salman is accompanied by Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qassabi, Minister of Media Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad, Head of the Royal Protocol Khaled bin Saleh Al-Abbad, Head of the Private Affairs of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Hazem bin Mustafa Zaqzuq, Head of the Royal Guard Lt. Gen. Suhail bin Saqr Al-Mitairi and other senior, civil and military officials.
His visit to Qassim is the first leg of a domestic tour that will take him to several regions in the Kingdom.
In Qassim, he will launch health, education and infrastructure projects as well as check on the conditions of citizens and get acquainted with their needs, Saudi Gazette newspaper said.
