The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the General Organization of Saudi Arabian Airlines signed on Tuesday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish digital platforms for Umrah pilgrims, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The deal will also open new destinations to accommodate the growing numbers of Umrah performers.

Saudi Airlines be part of the Ministry’s central reservation engine, which will serve pilgrims directly through electronic platforms.

This will allow them to choose and build all packages and complete procedures automatically, quickly and with high quality.

With the goal to receive 30 million performers, the agreement will achieve one of the important missions of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
