Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah held talks with Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz at the Bayan Palace on Monday.

Ould Abdel Aziz is in an official visit to Kuwait along with a political and economic delegation. His trip is expected to focus on the Kuwaiti-Mauritanian economic cooperation, reported the KUNA news agency.

Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah stated that during the meeting both sides discussed issues of mutual concern, bilateral relations and ways to bolster cooperation between Kuwait and Mauritania in all fields.

Ould Abdel Aziz is accompanied by Minister of Economy and Finance Mukhtar Ould Ajay, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development Amedi Camara and a number of high-ranking government officials.

24th Saudi Relief Plane Arrives in Lebanon

The 24th Saudi relief plane operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) arrived in Lebanon from King Khalid International Airport, carrying food, shelter, and medical supplies.

The assistance is in keeping with Saudi Arabia's historic role in supporting the Lebanese people in times of crisis.
