Saudi Energy Minister Discusses Economic Cooperation with Russia
Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman held talks in Riyadh on Monday with Russian Minister of Economic Development Maksim Oreshkin.
Discussions focused on economic cooperation and ways to bolster it in various fields. They also addressed means to boost development, as well as joint projects.
The meeting tackled the close cooperation between Riyadh and Moscow in the energy sector and their role in stabilizing the global markets.
They hailed in this regard the results of the OPEC agreement, which is helping stabilize the oil market and the future of the oil industry.
Prince Abdullah hailed Saudi-Russian relations, noting that great progress was achieved after the visit paid to Russia by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz in 2017.
He expected the ties to develop even further after Russian President Vladimi Putin visits the Kingdom later this month.
