Saudi, Chinese Navies Conclude Blue Sword 2019 Drill

The Royal Saudi Navy Forces, represented by the Special Forces of the Western Fleet in Jeddah, and the Chinese navy concluded on Wednesday their mixed naval exercise.

The conclusion of the Blue Sword 2019 drill took place in the presence of Commander of the Special Naval Security Group Rear Admiral Saleh bin Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, on behalf of the Commander of the Western Fleet Rear Admiral Faleh bin Abdurrahman Al-Faleh, and a number of Chinese military commanders at King Faisal Naval Base.

Al-Ghamdi praised the forces that participated in the exercise for their combat readiness, mastery and harmony in conducting the drill.

He thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, for their support to the Saudi armed forces.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a cable of congratulations to the President of Tunisia, Kais Saied, on his country's Republic Day.
King Salman wished President Saied continued good health and happiness and the government and people of Tunisia steady progress and prosperity.
For his part, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also sent a cable of congratulations to President Saied wishing him continued good health and happiness and the government and people of Tunisia steady progress and prosperity.
