King Salman Orders $493 Mln in ‘Ramadan Aid’ for Social Security Beneficiaries

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz ordered on Monday the distribution of "Ramadan Aid" worth 1.85 billion riyals ($492.6 million) for social security beneficiaries, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

Providers of families will get 1,000 riyals each while family members will get 500 riyals each.

The generous gesture reflects King Salman’s keenness on ensuring that the people live a dignified life, said SPA.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah arrived in Washington on Tuesday on an official visit.

He is scheduled to meet with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to discuss ways to strengthen relations between their countries.

They will also review key regional and international developments and efforts being made to address them.
