Saudi Arabia reported on Wednesday 2,691 new coronavirus cases, raising the Kingdom’s total to 62,545.
Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Mohammed Abdelali said 18,094 tests have been conducted, taking the total to 636,178.
Of the infections, 28,728 are active cases and 276 patients are in critical condition and receiving treatment at hospital, he told a daily press briefing on the outbreak.
Recoveries have reached 33,478, with 1,844 reported in the past 24 hours.
Ten new fatalities were registered, taking the toll to 339.
