Oman's Ministry of Health said 327 new coronavirus cases were recorded on Thursday. The new infections bring the total number of confirmed cases in the Sultanate to 6,370.
The ministry said in a statement published on its Twitter account that 105 of the cases were for Omanis while 222 were foreigners.
According to the ministry, the country's death toll reached 30 while 1,821 patients have recovered from the virus.
The ministry called upon all citizens to abide by social distancing rules and all other preventive measures.
Another Gulf country, Kuwait, recorded 1,041 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the tally to 18,609.
Its death toll rose to 129 after five more people died.
In Qatar, the Health Ministry announced 1,554 new cases in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of infections to 38,651.
It said that 688 more patients recovered, which brought the number of recoveries to 7,288.
There was one death, bringing the death toll to 17.
