Prince Khalid bin Salman: We Are Keen to Support Yemeni People in All Fields
Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman confirmed Saudi Arabia’s support for the Yemeni people in all fields.
Prince Khalid received in Riyadh on Thursday Speaker of the Yemeni House of Representatives, Sultan al-Burkani, as well as lawmakers and aides to the Yemeni president.
Burkani and the aides thanked Saudi Arabia for the support and care it has shown Yemen and its legitimate government and the benevolent initiatives undertaken by the Kingdom in the war-torn country. The latest initiative being the one led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to set an executive mechanism to accelerate the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement.
For his part, Prince Khalid expressed the Kingdom's appreciation for the positive role played by the Yemeni president, his government and the Southern Transitional Council.
He also praised the constructive and productive role played by Burkani, members of the parliament and advisers to the Yemeni president in supporting the efforts that led to the agreement on a mechanism to accelerate the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement.
He hoped that all sides would commit to the agreement, which stems from their national responsibility.
He added: "The directives of the Crown Prince and his continuous follow-up stems from the keenness of the Kingdom’s leadership on the brotherly Yemeni people and their government and their support in all fields."
