Oman's COVID-19 Cases Stand at 82,050

Oman's Health Ministry said on Tuesday that its total COVID-19 infections have risen to 82,050 while recovery rates have reached 93.5 percent.

The Ministry said that 48 new cases were admitted to hospital in the past 24 hours, raising the number of those receiving treatment to 458.

Meanwhile, the UAE said it had conducted up to 64,110 virus tests since Monday, revealing up to 262 new cases who are in stable condition.

UAE's ministry also reported one death raising the toll to 358 cases, amid a total of 56,961 recoveries.

The ministry called on everyone to abide by the precautionary measures and social distancing.

Saudi FM, US Special Envoy for Syria Discuss Steps to Support Syria

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received a phone call from United States Special Envoy for Syria Thomas Barrack on Saturday.

According to SPA, during the call, they discussed steps to support Syria on the economic and humanitarian levels.

They also reviewed regional developments and their repercussions on the broader region.
