Oman to Restart International Flights on Oct. 1

Oman will restart international flights on Oct. 1, state news agency ONA said on Twitter, after they were suspended in March as part of coronavirus precautions.

“Flights will be scheduled according to health data for specific destinations and according to bilateral agreements with other airlines,” ONA said.

The Gulf state has reported 87,328 coronavirus infections, 82,805 recoveries and 734 fatalities.

A sixth Saudi relief plane, carrying food, medical supplies, and shelter aid, arrived in Beirut from Riyadh as part of the Saudi air bridge operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

The aid is in response to the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to assist the Lebanese people during the ongoing crisis.
