The Health Ministry of the Syrian Interim Government has announced Al-Bab city an infected zone after it recorded 460 coronavirus cases.
The health authorities also reported 69 new infections on Sunday in northwestern Syria.
According to Syrian Observatory For Human Rights , the total number of confirmed cases recorded since July has risen to 1,730, including doctors and medics.
Meanwhile, SOHR activists documented the death of 15 people in northwestern Syria.
The new deaths were reported in areas under the control of the Interim Government in north Aleppo countryside and areas ran by the Salvation government, an administrative body linked to the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham extremist group which dominates the Idlib region.
