24 Ambassadors Present Credentials to King Salman

Ambassadors from 24 countries presented on Wednesday their credentials to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The ceremony was held virtually due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and Minister of State and member of cabinet Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban were present.

King Salman welcomed the ambassador to the Kingdom, wishing their countries progress and prosperity.

The new ambassadors represent Mexico, the Ivory Coast, United Kingdom, Afghanistan, Italy, Peru, Sudan, Bangladesh, the Netherlands, Tajikistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Uganda, Greece, Myanmar, Tunisia, Latvia, Rwanda, Oman, Malta, Estonia, Japan, the United Arab Emirates and the European Union.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received two invitations from Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to attend the Second World Summit for Social Development, scheduled to take place in Doha from November 4 to 6.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received the invitations on Monday during a meeting at the ministry in Riyadh with Qatari Ambassador to the Kingdom Bandar bin Mohammed Al Attiyah.
