The Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) kicked off on Sunday a joint military drill aimed at confronting terrorist attacks against oil facilities.

Held at the King Abdulaziz Naval Base in Jubail in the Kingdom’s Eastern Province, “Confrontation 4” is being carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Interior represented by the Eastern Province Border Guards, the Presidency of State Security, and the Ministry of Energy represented by Saudi Aramco and Aramco Gulf Operations Company.

The exercise aims to raise the readiness of the forces in confronting terrorist attacks against oil installations. It also seeks to bolster the concept of joint work and coordination between various units.

Maj. Gen. Majid bin Hazza Al-Qahtani, commander of the Eastern Fleet, said the drill aims to secure vital installations and oil fields. It also seeks to secure freedom of navigation in regional and economic waters in the Arab Gulf.

Saudi Arabia's King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has signed an agreement to provide $4 million in aid for the provision of a water, sanitation, and hygiene project, as well as an essential healthcare project for children and families in the Gaza Strip.
The agreement was signed by Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed Al Baiz from KSrelief and UNICEF Representative to the Gulf Area Eltayeb Adam on the sidelines of the International Conference on Conjoined Twins held in Riyadh.
The funds will be used to provide essential medical equipment and devices for sick children in Gaza, benefiting 73,000 children, SPA reported.

Additionally, the aid will support water, sanitation, and hygiene initiatives, benefiting 106,590 individuals.
This initiative aligns with the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
