Saudi Arabia: COVID-19 Cases Continue to Rise

Saudi Arabia witnessed a climb in new coronavirus cases with 482 infections announced on Thursday.

Of the new cases, 204 were recorded in Riyadh, 84 in Makkah, 76 in the Eastern Province and the rest in other regions.

The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 375,831 after 360 more patients recovered from the COVID-19 disease.

Six people also died from complications caused by the disease, increasing the Kingdom’s death toll to 6,630.

Saudi Arabia, Greece Discuss Developing Cooperation in Various Fields

Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held talks with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in AlUla on Monday.

The discussions focused on bilateral relations between their countries and ways to develop cooperation in various fields.

The officials also discussed regional and international developments of interest and chaired the Saudi-Greek Strategic Council.

Mitsotakis and his accompanying delegation had arrived in AlUla earlier on Monday as part of his visit to the Kingdom.

He was received at AlUla International Airport by Governor of Madinah Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Qasabi, and several other officials.
