UAE, UK Officials Discuss Strategic Relations

UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and James Cleverly, British Minister of State for Middle East and North Africa, have discussed the strategic relations between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation in all fields, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported Sunday.

During the meeting held at the ministry's headquarters in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the historic strategic ties between the two countries, which are based on a longstanding history of friendship and cooperation, WAM said.

They reviewed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, and discussed the latest efforts of the two states to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, the news agency added.

Saudi Arabia's King Salman Congratulates Prince of Monaco on National Day

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent on Tuesday a cable of congratulations to Prince Albert II of Monaco on his country's National Day.

He wished Prince Albert continued good health and happiness, and the government and people of Monaco steady progress and prosperity.
