Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Nayef al-Hajraf expressed on Friday his regret at the deterioration of relations between Morocco and Algeria.

He hoped that the neighbors would restore ties, calling on them to resort to dialogue and diplomacy to resolve their differences in the hopes of opening a new chapter in relations.

Such relations should meet the aspirations of their people, achieve security and stability and bolster joint Arab work.
