Saudi Arabia Has the Best Immunization Systems In the World, Bloomberg Reports

Saudi Arabia has the best immunization systems in the world through tight vaccine precautionary rules it enacted, and the proof of vaccination status through an app called Tawakkalna, which has advanced technical characteristics, said Bloomberg International News Agency in a report on Thursday.

In its report, Bloomberg said that Saudi Arabia has adopted a strategy of vaccination all to keep their economy open and resume normal life. It noted that this policy has succeeded at increasing the vaccine rate and a decline in new infection cases.

Officials have emphasized the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines, noting that the conditions and rules help in protecting the citizens, clarified the report.

It added that the number of fully-vaccinated people has jumped to 42% of the population, while around 63%, including 99% of public school students aged 12 to 18, have received at least one dose.

According to the Agency, officials expect at least 70% of the population to be fully immunized by October.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated Monday in the Quadripartite meeting on Sudan with the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and the United States on the sidelines of his participation in the expanded session of the second Group of Seven (G7) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting held in Fiuggi, Italy.

The meeting discussed developments in the Sudanese crisis and the need to unify efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire, work to calm the situation and enhance humanitarian efforts.

The meeting also addressed implementing the Jeddah Declaration regarding the protection of civilians and supporting an inter-Sudanese political process that ensures Sudan's stability and preserves its sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.

The meeting was attended by the Saudi Ambassador to Italy, Prince Faisal bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz.
