Saudi ambassadors, newly appointed to several countries, swore the oath before Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, attended the ceremony that was held virtually amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The officials include ambassadors to Bulgaria, Niger, Myanmar, Mauritania, Somalia, Mozambique, Djibouti, Uzbekistan, Senegal and Tanzania.

They swore to be loyal to their religion, king and nation and to protect state secrets and the Kingdom’s interests.

Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah was also present at the ceremony.

Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met Thursday in Riyadh with State Secretary to the Prime Minister of Sweden Johan Stuart.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance and develop cooperation between both countries and addressed issues of mutual interest.
