Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held telephone talks on Monday with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Talks focused on regional and international developments and efforts exerted towards them.

They also covered the strategic bilateral relations between the Kingdom and United States and ways to bolster them with the aim of achieving greater stability and prosperity for their people.

The US Embassy in Saudi Arabia tweeted Tuesday that the officials discuss the Kingdom's efforts to prolong a truce in Yemen.

The discussions also touched on Iran's nuclear program and the Ukraine crisis, it added.

Prince Faisal also held telephone talks with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias. They tackled bilateral relations and ways to boost them in various fields.

They also exchanged views on issues of common interest.

Six new Saudi relief trucks carrying essential food baskets crossed the Karem Abu Salem border crossing on Tuesday.

 

This humanitarian consignment, provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), is destined for the Gaza Strip as part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing campaign to deliver vital assistance to the Palestinian people, SPA reported.

The Gaza Strip continues to face severe humanitarian challenges due to the ongoing conflict, making this aid crucial in supporting the resilience of families and helping them cope with daily hardships during these difficult times.
