A Kuwaiti Emiri decree reappointed Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf al-Sabah as prime minister on Wednesday, state news agency KUNA reported.

Kuwait's government submitted its resignation on Sunday, following a parliamentary election in the country.

Crown Prince Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad al-Sabah had accepted the government's resignation.

The 15th Saudi relief plane, operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), took off from the King Khalid International Airport bound for Damascus International Airport, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.

The flight carries critical humanitarian assistance including food, shelter and medical supplies, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s longstanding commitment to supporting countries during times of need.

The assistance aims to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people during this critical time.
