Saudi Arabia Underscores Principles of Dialogue, Coexistence

The Saudi government reiterated on Tuesday the Kingdom’s stance that calls for spreading the principles of dialogue, tolerance and coexistence and shunning hatred and extremism.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz chaired the cabinet meeting that was held in Riyadh.

The ministers reviewed the latest regional and international developments, underlining the Kingdom’s call for tolerance and dialogue.

They were briefed on the messages received by King Salman and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, from the presidents of Gambia and Chad.

They reviewed the Kingdom’s latest efforts on the political and economic levels over the past week, most notably its role in bolstering international cooperation in various fields and finding innovative and joint solutions to global challenges.

The government hailed the Kingdom’s participation at the World Economic Forum in Davos where it highlighted the progress it has made in achieving Vision 2030.

Saudi officials at Davos also highlighted the Kingdom’s effective international contributions and initiatives aimed at supporting the stability and growth of the global economy.

The government underlined the outcomes of the 13th meeting of the Saudi-Swiss joint economic committee that was held in Zurich and the signing of agreements aimed at expanding cooperation between the countries and seizing opportunities in various fields.

The Saudi leadership extended its condolences to President of Austria over a school shooting in Graz that left several students dead and injured, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent on Wednesday a cable of condolences to President Alexander Van der Bellen over the shooting incident.

He condemned the heinous criminal act and expressed to the Austrian president, the families of the victims, and the friendly people of Austria his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to Van der Bellen, expressing his deepest condolences to the President, the friendly people of Austria. He wished the injured a speedy recovery.
