Saudi Arabia declared on Tuesday that the holy fasting month of Ramadan will begin on Thursday.

The Supreme Court made the announcement after teams failed to sight the crescent moon that marks the beginning of the holy month.

It congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, all citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia and Muslims across the globe on the advent of Ramadan.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, arrived in Cairo on Sunday to lead the Kingdom’s delegation at the Ministerial Conference on Humanitarian Assistance for Gaza, the Saudi Press Agency said Sunday.
The Kingdom’s delegation includes Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Adviser to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.
The ministerial conference will focus on strengthening the humanitarian response to Gaza, with the goal of alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people and ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of aid.
