Saudi Arabia and Britain have signed a framework agreement for military and security cooperation.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense signed the agreement on Tuesday with UK’s Defense Secretary Michael Fallon.

The Crown Prince met with Fallon in Jeddah.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly the mechanism of joint coordination in the field of defense. They also discussed the latest developments in the region and efforts to combat terrorism.

The Crown Prince also held separate talks on Tuesday with former Turkish President Abdullah Gul.

During the audience, they reviewed a number of issues of mutual concern.

The Muslim World League (MWL) has extended its heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the Republic of Indonesia, as well as to the families of the victims, the injured, and the missing, following the tragic sinking of a ferry near the island of Bali.

In an official statement, the MWL expressed its solidarity with the Indonesian people, offering particular support and compassion to the families affected by this devastating incident.

On Thursday, a ferry carrying 65 people sank near Indonesia’s resort island of Bali, resulting in multiple fatalities and leaving several others missing.
