Kuwait announced on Monday its solidarity with Saudi Arabia in confronting any attempts aimed at undermining its sovereignty and harming its standing in the Arab and Islamic worlds.
During a cabinet session, Kuwait expressed its deep appreciation for the Kingdom’s pioneering role in supporting peace and stability on all Arab, Islamic and international levels.
It voiced its complete rejection of the unjust campaign against Saudi Arabia, which is being subject to wrongful accusations and allegations linked to the disappearance of citizen Jamal Khashoggi.
Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister Anas al-Saleh stressed the need to wait for the results of the investigations before making assumptions in the case.
Kuwait is closely following up on the case from the position of the strong ties it enjoys with Saudi Arabia, he continued.
