Kuwait shares Saudi Arabia’s optimism over ending the differences over the divided oil-producing zone “in the near future,” Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah said on Monday.
Speaking to reporters at the Saudi Embassy 89th National Day function, Jarallah mentioned “positive statements” made by the Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the matter.
He further expressed Kuwait’s keenness towards “turning over a new leaf” on the affair.
The Saudi Energy Minister had earlier stated that “positive” talks were highlighted by a political will to resolve the matter, adding “all will be clear over the next two months,” in regards to the resumption of output.
