Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Mohammed Bentin received Sunday in his office in Makkah Head of Iran’s Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Alireza Rashidian and his accompanying delegation.
Both sides discussed arrangements and preparations to serve Iranian pilgrims during next year’s Hajj season.
They also signed an agreement to arrange pilgrimage affairs for the Hajj season.
It organizes the pilgrims’ arrival from Iran to Saudi Arabia in addition to the services provided to them through the service agencies participating in the pilgrims’ services system during their stay in the Holy Land to perform their rituals.
The meeting came in line with the early preparations for next year’s Hajj season and was attended by Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Abdulfattah bin Sulaiman Mashat and a number of Saudi officials.
In a press statement published by SPA, Bentin stressed the Kingdom’s keenness to provide all necessary facilities for pilgrims coming from all world countries.
Rashidian, for his part, expressed appreciation for Bentin and Mashat’s reception and hospitality and wished success for the upcoming Hajj season, as was the case in the previous years.
