Saudi Arabia reported on Saturday 1,618 new coronavirus cases, raising the Kingdom’s total to 83,384.
The Health Ministry announced 1,870 more people have recovered from the disease, taking the tally to 58,883.
Twenty-two fatalities were registered, with the death toll now at 480.
Saudi Arabia will begin on Sunday the second phase of its plan to return to normal.
It will see the easing of curfew, which will now begin from 8 pm to 6 am, and return to holding mass prayers at mosques amid preventive measures.
