Saudi Arabia registered 2,994 novel coronavirus cases, taking its tally to 229,480.
In a daily briefing on the outbreak, the Health Ministry said 285 of the cases were reported in Riyadh, 226 in al-Hofuf, 221 in Jeddah, 211 in al-Dammam, 152 in al-Taef, 88 in the holy city of Makkah and 77 in Madinah.
It added that recoveries rose to 165,396 after 2,370 more people were reported virus-free.
Fatalities stand at 2,181 after 30 more people died from disease.
