Saudi Ambassadors-designate to several friendly countries took the oath before Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud during a ceremony at the Irqah Palace in Riyadh on Tuesday.
The diplomats who took the oath included Ambassador-designate to Spain, Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf Al Muqrin; Ambassador-designate to Japan, Dr. Ghazi bin Faisal bin Zaqar; Ambassador-designate to Hungary, Majed bin Abdulaziz Al-Abdan; Ambassador-designate to Mauritius, Fayez bin Meshal Al-Tamyaat; Ambassador-designate to Uganda, Mohammed bin Khalil Falooda; and Ambassador-designate to Bulgaria, Rami bin Saud Al-Otaibi.
They swore to be loyal to their “religion, King, and homeland, not to divulge any of the State's secrets, to maintain its interests and regulations internally and externally,” and to perform their duties with honesty, integrity, and sincerity.
Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji and Assistant to the Special Secretary of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Tameem bin Abdulaziz Al-Salem attended the ceremony.
