Saudi Arabia Strongly Condemns Israeli Attack on Displaced Palestinians in Rafah

The Saudi Foreign Ministry strongly condemned on Monday the ongoing “massacres by Israeli forces and their continued targeting of innocent civilians in Gaza, the latest of which was the attack on displaced Palestinians” in northwestern Rafah.

It stressed the Kingdom’s “categorical rejection of the continued flagrant violations by Israeli forces of all international and humanitarian resolutions, laws and norms.”

It called on the international community to “intervene immediately to stop the massacres and prevent the unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe from deepening.”

Palestinian health and civil emergency service officials said on Sunday Israeli air strikes killed at least 35 Palestinians and wounded dozens in an area in Rafah designated for the displaced.

The Saudi leadership extended its condolences to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune over the victims of a fire at an orphanage in Mohammadia, Algiers, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent a cable of condolences to Tebboune and extended his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the president, the families of the deceased, and the brotherly people of Algeria.

He prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon the deceased, grant their families patience and solace, bless the injured with a speedy recovery, and protect the president and the people of Algeria from all evil and harm.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a similar cable to Tebboune, extending his condolences and sincere sympathy to the president and the families of the deceased.

On Friday, a fire caused by an electrical spark from an air conditioning unit killed 11 people at a childcare facility in the Mohammadia suburb of Algiers.

The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned Iran's continued aggression against Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.

MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa reiterated in a statement his condemnation of Iran's repeated aggression and its targeting of infrastructure and civilian and vital facilities. He said these attacks violate religious values, and international humanitarian law and norms, and pose a serious threat to the security, stability, and safety of the peoples of the region.

Al-Issa reaffirmed the MWL's full solidarity with Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan in all measures they take to safeguard their security, sovereignty, and the safety of their citizens and residents.

GCC Says Iranian Attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan Amount to War Crimes

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) said on Saturday that Iran's targeting of infrastructure and civilian facilities in Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan constitutes war crimes requiring immediate international accountability.

In a statement, GCC Secretary-General Jassim Albudaiwi strongly condemned what he described as Iran's "treacherous attacks" on Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan, including strikes on infrastructure and civilian facilities that injured a number of civilian workers in Kuwait.

Albudaiwi said Iran's actions represent a highly dangerous escalation and constitute a serious violation of international law and the United Nations Charter. He added that the attacks amount to war crimes requiring international accountability because they deliberately targeted infrastructure and civilian facilities, in what he described as a blatant violation of international norms and conventions and a further effort to undermine regional security and stability.

He stressed that the GCC stands united with Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan and supports all measures they take to safeguard their security, sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also wished those injured in Kuwait a speedy recovery.

The United Arab Emirates also strongly condemned what it described as renewed Iranian attacks targeting Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan with missiles and drones.

In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks constitute a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the three countries and pose a threat to their security and stability.

The ministry reaffirmed the UAE's full solidarity with Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan and its support for all measures aimed at preserving their security and stability.
