FIE Discusses Preparations for 2024 World Fencing Championship for Juniors and Youth in Saudi Arabia

The Chairman of the board of directors of the Saudi Fencing Federation Ahmed Al-Sabban has discussed with the head of the technical committee of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) Ziad Feriani the preparations for the 2024 World Fencing Championship for Juniors and Youth, which will be held in Saudi Arabia in April.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Fencing World Championships, which has recently concluded in Milan, Italy.

Discussions also reviewed the preparations and facilities for the Championship.

The event will see more than 1,500 male and female athletes representing more than 100 countries and more than 400 administrative and technical staff, including referees and coaches.

Saudi Leadership Congratulates Kuwait on ‘Outstanding’ Organization of Gulf Cup

The Saudi leadership sent separate messages to the Emir of Kuwait congratulating him on his country’s success in organizing the 26th Arabian Gulf Football Cup which concluded on Saturday.
King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, sent a congratulatory cable to Kuwait’s Emir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, expressing his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for achieving this accomplishment.
In his cable, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, congratulated the Emir on his country’s success in organizing the Gulf Cup Football Championship.
He expressed best wishes for further progress and success to the State of Kuwait and its brotherly people.
The Bahrain national team clinched the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup title with a thrilling 2-1 victory over Oman in the final held at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait.
