The Saudi youth cycling team won its first bronze medal in Asian history after Muhammad Majrashi clinched it in the Elimination Race, as part of the Asian Field & Track Championships 2024.
The championships concluded on Monday in the Indian capital, New Delhi. More than 300 female and male athletes representing 18 Asian teams participated in the event.
Korean Park Woojin won gold and Japanese Kazuma Muara silver in the race, which witnessed strong competition and enthusiasm among 10 riders representing the teams of Saudi Arabia as well as Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Taipei and Uzbekistan.
