Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) Vice President Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed has visited the Saudi delegation headquarters at the Athletes' Village in Paris. He was accompanied by board of directors' member Adwa Al-Arifi, and SOPC Chief Executive and Secretary-General Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Baeshen.

During Thursday’s visit, Prince Fahd met with the athletes, administrative staff, technical teams, and medical personnel to ensure that they had everything they needed for the Paralympic Games. He emphasized the importance of providing all the necessary support so that the athletes can compete and represent Saudi Arabia with honor.

Prince Fahd conveyed the greetings of SOPC President Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki and expressed his confidence in the Saudi athletes' ability to give their best and achieve positive results that meet the Kingdom's aspirations in the Paralympic Games.

Saudi Cyclists Continue to Win Medals at Track Asia Cup 2024

The Saudi cycling team has been performing exceptionally well at the Track Asia Cup 2024, currently taking place in Suphan Buri, Thailand, the Saudi Press Agency said on Friday.
With over 160 athletes from 28 nations participating, the Saudi riders won two bronze medals.
The junior team secured the first bronze in the team sprint event with a time of 1:08.334 minutes. Thailand won gold with a time of 1:02.586 minutes, while the Republic of Korea claimed silver in 1:11.855 minutes.
Ameen Al-Hayan earned the second bronze in the kilo race, finishing with a time of 1:09.442 minutes. Thailand's Nora Sethada captured gold with a time of 1:06.291 minutes, and the Republic of Korea's Dong Yuk Choi secured silver in 1:07.854 minutes.
The Saudi cycling team will continue its quest for more medals tomorrow, competing in the junior sprint, elite omnium, and points races for both juniors and seniors.
