Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha held talks in the United States on Tuesday with Founder, President, and CEO of Supermicro Charles Liang to discuss ways to accelerate the growth of the Kingdom’s artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem and develop advanced data center infrastructure.
The meeting comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen global technology partnerships and support the development of advanced computing systems that enable intelligent technologies, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as a global hub for AI and high-performance computing.
Alswaha also met with Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ServiceNow Bill McDermott to strengthen cooperation in developing AI-powered enterprise business solutions in the Kingdom.
The two sides discussed opportunities to enable artificial intelligence solutions in the business sector and accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies to enhance corporate readiness and expand their impact in the labor market.
In a separate meeting, Minister Alswaha met with Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Frore Systems Dr. Seshu Madhavapeddy to boost technological partnerships and expand collaboration in developing advanced computing technologies.
Alswaha’s visit to the US has seen him meet leading tech industry figures, including Founder, Chairman and CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg, Groq Founder and CEO Jonathan Ross, Adobe Chair and Chief Executive Officer Shantanu Narayen and Applied Intuition CEO Qasar Younis.
