Time is running out for Israel to continue its brutal aggression on Gaza, warned Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
Amir-Abdollahian wrote on the "X" platform that the only "good" thing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accomplished was further to undermine the foundations of the "fake Israeli regime."
He elaborated that the Israeli Prime Minister revealed the "criminal, violent, and aggressive face of the Zionist regime" during its massacres in Gaza.
He also expressed that "undoubtedly, the future belongs to Palestine."
Meanwhile, the Iranian Foreign Ministry denounced the G7 statement, which called on Iran to refrain from providing support for Hamas and taking further actions that destabilize the Middle East, including support for Lebanese Hezbollah and other non-state actors.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani strongly condemned the "baseless" accusations, adding that since the beginning of the current war on Gaza, Iran has engaged in "non-stop efforts to stop military attacks of the Zionist aggressor regime on the defenseless citizens" in Gaza.
"What was expected from the meeting of the Group of Seven foreign ministers in Tokyo was to fulfill their international responsibility, including condemning the acts of the Zionist regime that violate human rights and international law in Gaza," AFP reported Kanaani.
Iranian officials use the term "axis of resistance" to describe armed groups that Western powers represent as "Iran's agents.
The attacks against US forces in Syria and Iraq increased, but Iranian officials said that these groups are "independent in their opinions, decisions, and actions."
Furthermore, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander, Hossein Salami, threatened the US and Israel with a "death nightmare," which can't be removed.
Speaking at a conference organized by the military university, Salami said Gaza has become a "graveyard for the US and the Zionist entity today."
"The regime usurping Qods cannot regain its lost power," he added, according to the IRGC-affiliate Fars Agency.
Salami stated that Palestinians' bravery has dispelled fear in Muslims' hearts, adding that the "annihilation nightmare will no longer be removed from the minds of the Israeli regime and the US, and everyone should know that Gaza will emerge victorious."
The Israeli regime and other Western countries have reached a point where they believe they can gain grandeur and power by killing children in Gaza, but they should know that they cannot achieve their objectives, added the top commander.
Salami continued, saying the US leaders believe they cannot be reached because of their country's presence between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, describing this as "false" politics.
Iran has become a deterrent force in the military field, said the official, adding that Iran does not seek confrontation with normal countries that are not enemies.
He asserted that Iran would not go to war with neighboring countries but could plan to obstruct non-regional powers.
Salami referred to the importance of shipping oil and gas at sea amid global demand, adding that Tehran has aspirations to expand artificial intelligence used in missiles, radar systems, unmanned boats, and naval ships.
Iran did not comment on the US army's strike on a facility in Syria, following attacks launched by an IRGC-linked Iraqi faction against the coalition forces in Syria and Iraq.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said Wednesday that the United States struck a weapons storage facility in Syria linked to Iran in response to attacks on US personnel.
Later, President Joe Biden told reporters that Washington will strike targets linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and its affiliated groups again if necessary.
