Turkish authorities have detained 72 people suspected of having ties to the militant ISIS group in operations across 13 provinces, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said on social media platform X on Thursday.
As part of Turkiye’s crackdown on ISIS terror cells, thousands of militants were arrested in April, around 3 thousand deported and more than 5 thousand were denied entry to the country.
